VINCENT CECILIO

I’m an 18 year old video editor, graphic designer, and photographer that works in freelance. I love taking and editing photos and videos to convey a story, and creating short films.

Video editing and graphic design was a huge passion of mine growing up and I decided to take these up as a career because of my two older brothers. They’ve inspired me to take up various tasks and responsibilities to help me become to best that I can.

I decided to take my education in video editing further by taking courses at my high school, Deer Valley High School to help elevate my skills as an experienced video editor. I took video production for 1 year and got into the advanced film production class (mostly known as Deer Valley Television) taught by Kiel Olff. For my two years in Deer Valley Television, I had earned the 2023-2024 Contra Costa County Student of Excellence Award along with a handful of students because of my efforts and hard work in Deer Valley Television and also received the 2023-2024 DVTV Student of the Year award alongside Alessandra Necor.
